Franciscan Walk
The Franciscan Seminary together with the Vocations Center is going to organise a Franciscan Walk. The walk is going to begin from the Għargħur Parish Church on 1 August at 19.30 with a brief introduction.
Definitory visit the President
On Tuesday, 22nd July, President Edward Fenech Adami received a courtesy call by Minister Provincial Fr Sandro Overend OFM accompanied by members of the Provincial Definitorioum of the Franciscan Province of Friars Minor, Malta at The Palace, Valletta.
Friars giving service
During the summer holidays various friars give pastoral service abroad. Fr. Albert Micallef gives his service as a confessor in the Lateran Basilica, together with the Franciscan Penitentiaries.
25th Anniversary of Ordination
On 20th July four Franciscan Friars celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Priesthood. Frs. Alexander Borg ofm, Julian Sammut ofm, Ray Scicluna ofm and Raymond Falzon ofm celebrated their Mass of Thanksgiving in our Franciscan parish at Sliema.
