Last week, Fr. Albert Gauci OFM, Franciscan missionary in Honduras arrived in Malta for a two week holiday. A local newspaper has interviewed him on his missionary work. Sta. Maria Convoy Celebrated
On the 14th of August, the Apostolatus Maris celebrated the 65th Anniversary of the Santa Maria Convoy. The Port Chaplain, Fr. Paul Attard OFM and the Council Members celebrated the Wreath Laying Ceremony under the patronage of the Archbishop of Malta, Mgr Paul Cremona.
Archbishop Expresses Gratitude
In a letter sent to Fr. Richard S. Grech OFM, Rector of the Pastoral Center ‘Gesu il-Habib’, the Archbishop expressed his gratitude for a sum of money that was gathered from the Pastoral center for philanthropic causes.
Feast of St. Clare celebrated
On Saturday 11 August in the evening the feast of St. Clare was celebrated at St. Clare’s Monastery. At around 6.30 the Archbishop of Malta Mgr. Paul Cremona arrived at the monastery, where he conducted the festive Mass.
