Franciscan Province – MALTA

Two days after Christmas the Friars’ parents accepted the invitation to join in a Christmas reception together with the Friars of the Franciscan Province.

On 22nd December the Franciscan friars met in the Franciscan fraternity in Rabat to celebrate Christmas together, since they cannot be together on Christmas night, when each friar is engaged in pastoral work.

Malta today celebrates Republic Day, and the President of the Republic, Dr. Edward Fenech Adami, on behalf of the Government and people of Malta, pays public tribute to a number of Maltese citizens who distinguish themselves in different fields.

On 8th December, feast of the Immaculate Conception, a group of 18 young people from Rabat (Malta) made the GIFRA Promise in front of the Minister Provincial, Fr. Paul Galea OFM.
