Franciscan Province – MALTA

On August 21, at St Luke’s Hospital, Fr. Vincent Galea OFM, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

The first meeting of the provincial JPIC commission was held on Friday the 29th of July 2005 at 10.30am at the provincial curia in Valletta.

TAU Edition has just published a new translation in Maltese of the New Testament. The translation has been done from the well known biblical scholar Fr. Guido Schembri OFM.

Fr. Marcellino Micallef, Guardian of the Hamrun Fraternity, is currently in Perù, together with a group of lay volunteers from the Malta Mission Fund.
