Province of St. Paul the Apostle – MALTA

The friars had a fraternal meeting directed by Fr. Giacomo Bini OFM. The reflection took about fifty minutes. Fr  Giacomo  encouraged all the friars to continue working together and study thoroughly the challenges that they meet every day. He said, that the Gospel, which we are bound to live together in the heart of the Church, is lived totally  in daily community and personal prayer.

Fr. George  Bugeja chosen to work at the Propaganda Fidei Congregation in Rome.  The Minister General, Fr. Jose' Rodriguez Carballo, OFM has appointed Fr. George Bugeja, OFM to represent the Order of Friars Minor at the Congregation for the Evangelization of People. The Congregation has invited Fr. George to enter in office as from the first week of March 2010.

All the friars of the Franciscan Province of St. Paul the Apostle will be meeting at the Porziuncola Retreat House, in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq on Saturday, 27th February 2010. Fr. Giacomo Bini OFM will be offering the reflections. He will also be meeting the Franciscan Students, the Postulants at the OFM Formation House in Rabat and the Poor Clares. He is expected to leave the Island on Sunday morning.

Lent, adoring the Holy Cross and living our conversion in Christ our Saviour Times change! Life changes ! Even the climate is changing! Surely we are all involved in these changes. Whether our involvement in these changes is directly or indirectly.... that is another question. The fact that "change" plays a very important role in our lives is confirmed and shared by the majority of us.
